Parco Sigurta....and bonus sheep outside our house!

March 30th.

On Sunday March 30th, we went to a huge park called Parco Sigurta. Again, I had read on the travel page (my go-to resource for cool things to do) that there would be tulips at this park. It reminded me of the tulip festival back home, so I jumped for joy at the chance to see tulips here. And this park did not disappoint! Not only were there tulips, but also beautiful scenery including trees, woods, a castle, a maze made up of hedges, ponds and sheep! Yes, we found a herd of sheep- or is it a cattle, flock, or band or mob...? I've received a few answers on Google and the winners are herd and flock- mob and band refer to a very large herd. Anyway, they were very cute and that's twice now we've seen sheep in Italy :) The other time was when we were on the way to base to take Corey to work- and right in front of our house there they were- a shepherd and his sheep wandering down the street! Oh and a few herding dogs :) Here's a small picture of the ones outside our house (plus a video of them at the end) :) Ok on to Parco Sigurta. P.S. They say that this park is bigger than Central Park in NY!! (Oh and my Nikon camera died like 5 pictures in, so most of the pics are from my iPhone) Also, I was low on space on my phone, so this video kind of sucks- all of my little short videos to make the big video are extra short, and my phone kept cutting me off. So after this trip, I deleted a bunch of crap off of it to make more space.
